 Your first visit begins with a comprehensive intake to understand your health history, concerns, and goals. From there, a personalized treatment plan is created, and fine, sterile needles are gently placed. Most people feel little to no discomfort and often find the treatment deeply relaxing. 

 Acupuncture uses very fine, hair-thin needles. Most people feel little to no pain. Sensations can include a slight pinch, warmth, or a dull ache that quickly fades. Many patients feel calm or even fall asleep during treatment. 

 Have a light meal beforehand, stay hydrated, and wear comfortable clothing. Avoid coming on an empty stomach, and try to arrive a few minutes early to settle in. For facial acupuncture appointments, please arrive with clean skin, free of makeup. 

 This depends on your goals and how long symptoms have been present. Some people notice changes after a few sessions, while others benefit from a series of treatments for longer-term support. Your treatment plan will be discussed and adjusted as needed. Typically, we begin with 4–6 weekly treatments.
